Mon-Peche-Mignon is a Japanese line inspired by French girls, and born as a second line of ScoLar. Mon pèche mignon, which translates into "my guilty pleasure" in French, tries to tie in Japanese inventiveness with the charm of Paris, catering to the young woman.
Their lingerie-like dresses and tops styled with hand crochet, laces and printed woven chiffons. The palette is neutral, mostly grey and black, although the embellishments are colorful. The fits are slim, contemporary and easy to slip into.
Scolar is a refreshing and relaxed Japanese line for young women and teenagers. The collection is full of prints and soft knits in easy shapes. The theme of the brand is a mixture of retro and distinctiveness, and knit tops and dresses are core items for the brand. The graphics and silhouettes are a modern yet cute, girlie flavor.
Now ScoLar is distributed at more than 200 stores in Japan, and four overseas countries of the United States, China/Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
